Gaowo attended the Fifth Intellectual Property Frontier Medical Devices Forum

On July 17-18, 2025,the Fifth Intellectual Property Frontier Medical Devices Forum 2025 was grandly held in Nanjing.

 Gaowo, as a pioneering representative in the field of intellectual property rights, was invited to attend the forum. Besides, Gaowo set up a booth for the communication with attending guests. And Zhang Jinzhi, Gaowo ‘s Manager of the Patent Search and Analysis Department, Senior Patent Agent, Expert-level Search Consultant, was specially invited to deliver a keynote speech, breaking through the difficulties in patent protection for medical devices and opening up new paths for the innovative development of enterprises.

This forum brought together the representatives from domestic and foreign medical device enterprises, universities/research institutions, industry law firms, as well as government departments and association organizations. It focused on the IP hot topics and problems in medical device industry. And centering on the synergy between medical device innovation and intellectual property protection, the forum discussed the challenges and response strategies in the medical device industry in terms of technological innovation, global layout, expansion into new business areas, as well as judicial and administrative protection.

Dr Zhang Jinzhi delivered a keynote speech on Intellectual Property Protection and Risk Response for Medical Device Enterprises from the Perspective of Patents. And Zhang shared the operation experience and practical cases in the fields such as high-value patent cultivation, patent novelty search, and anti-infringement retrieval, by virtue of her profound theoretical foundation and rich practical experience. And the speech played a critical guiding role for attending units in strengthening their ability to protect IP rights and respond to risks. And the attending guests said they benefit a lot.

Outside the main venue, the Gaowo booth was equally splendid. Gaowo experts service team exchanged in-depth ideas with the participating representatives of medical device companies,  and research institutes, tailoring IP solutions for the difficulties and risk responses in patent layout in medical device fields. And this promoted the IP protection of the innovative technologies in medical device fields.
